Terms of Use
These terms (the end-user license agreement) are an agreement between you and Trenchoor for your use of the Trenchoor app and API. By creating a profile you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use Trenchoor.
Who can use Trenchoor
You must be at least 17 years old and allowed to enter this agreement where you live. One person per account; keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not post, upload, comment, send or link to anything that is:
- hateful, harassing, bullying, threatening or that encourages self-harm or violence;
- sexually explicit, or that sexualizes minors in any way;
- a scam, phishing, a wallet drainer, a fake airdrop or giveaway, or impersonation of a person, project or company;
- illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- spam, or undisclosed paid promotion.
Every post, comment and profile can be reported in the app, and you can block any user so you no longer see them. Content is filtered automatically and reports are reviewed by moderators: we act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours by removing the content and, where warranted, removing the account that posted it.
Not financial advice
Everything on Trenchoor, including posts, calls, scores, rankings, market data and sponsored posts, is user opinion or general information. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing on Trenchoor is an offer or recommendation to buy or sell anything. Crypto assets are highly risky and you can lose everything you put in. Do your own research.
No custody, no trading
Trenchoor never holds, transfers or trades crypto assets or money for you, and never asks for your seed phrase or private keys. No one from Trenchoor will ever ask for them; anyone who does is a scammer.
Lore Points and Boost credits
Lore Points (earned by posting, commenting, checking in and making calls) and Boost credits (used to promote posts) are in-app features only. They have no cash or monetary value, are not cryptocurrency, tokens or securities, can't be bought, sold, transferred or redeemed for anything of value, and may be adjusted, reset or discontinued at any time, for example to undo farming or abuse.
Sponsored content
Posts promoted with Boost credits are labelled as sponsored wherever they appear. Promoting a post does not mean Trenchoor endorses it, and the rules above apply to sponsored posts too. If a post tags a coin, its author must disclose whether they hold it, are on its team or were paid.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You give Trenchoor a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display and distribute it within the service for as long as it is on Trenchoor. You confirm you have the rights to everything you post.
Termination
We may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account, without notice, that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk. You can stop using Trenchoor and delete your account at any time with Delete account in the app's settings.
The service
Trenchoor is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and may change or stop at any time. To the extent the law allows, Trenchoor is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss of crypto assets or trading losses. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app or its content.
Changes
When these terms change, the version below changes and the app asks you to accept the new version.
